In October 2002, CIMA Canada held a grand event to celebrate its 30 year anniversary. CIMA President Harry Byrnes along with Director of International Affairs, Kathy Grimshaw visited Toronto to grace the occasion. Past officials of CIMA Canada including a number of Past Presidents flew to Toronto from various parts of Canada. The event marked one of the best attended events of the Branch in the recent past with over 200 members attending.
