Senior Financial Analyst

· Status: Contract (6 Months)

· Contract Pay Rate: Commensurate with Experience

Located in Ottawa, our client requires the contract services of a Senior Financial Analyst for what is to be a 6 month project within its organization. The Senior Financial Analyst is to have a solid understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in addition to advanced level skills commanding Microsoft Excel including proficiency with Pivot Tables, Formulas, conditional formatting and presentations.

Qualifications:

Candidates to meet consideration for this 6 month contract opportunity will have successfully completed a 3 Year post-secondary Diploma / Degree with concentration in Accounting, Business or Business. Pursuit of accreditation as a Chartered Management Accountant is a definite asset. Candidates will have excellent problem-solving skills and a working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial and/or additional accounting software. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential equally to strong interpersonal skills and keen team orientation.
