After completing his philosophy degree at Peterhouse, Cambridge, Andy joined Hays in 1991 as an Accounting & Finance consultant in the Cambridge office in the UK.

Andy went on to manage several offices and whilst working in senior finance was promoted to Business Director and subsequently Regional Director within public services. In addition to the development of major permanent recruitment contracts with DWP, HMRC and the Audit Commission and building an executive search portfolio, Andy also build strategic partnerships with the Healthcare Finance Managers Association, CIPFA and the Government Finance Profession.

Subsequently an Accounting and Finance board director he then held a cross specialism role heading up public services for the UK and later Andy has very successfully run the multi-specialism Public Services team in London.

He was also the operational lead with the Government Procurement Service holding overall responsibility for NMNC (1200 – 1500 temp contractors), GPS frameworks as well as the relationship with Comensura (1000 – 1500 temp contractors).

Andy moved to Toronto to oversee the Mississauga and Toronto offices in January 2013.
