Bill Currie is Deloitte’s Managing Director for the Americas,
a business with over 80,000 employees and almost $14 billion in
revenue across 29 countries. He is also Vice Chair of Deloitte Canada
and sits on the Canadian Board of Directors.
Bill is the author of a number of studies at Deloitte including,
The Future of Productivity series which has been widely quoted in
the Canadian and international media. Bill is passionate about Canadian
competitiveness and believes Deloitte, as Canada’s largest
provider of professional services, is uniquely positioned to explore
this national issue. The Future of Productivity series illustrates
that despite a record of strong policy reforms, Canada faces a serious
and growing productivity challenge which government, business and
academia must work together to address.
In addition to his management responsibilities Bill’s client
work focuses on financial services in Canada and around the world.

competitive strategy, market entry strategy, organizational design,
and M&A strategy. Bill has worked in over 30 countries and has
a uniquely global perspective on Canadian business issues.
Bill holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School at the University
