| CIMA Canada held the 2010 Fall CPD event at the Marriott
Hotel on October 27, 2010. A presentation on “From Controller
to CFO” was conducted by Paul Sharman who is a specialist in
controllership activities. Paul is a fellow member of CIMA and was
also elected as a Councillor of the City of Burlington, just two days
before the event. The event was a great success and was well received
by our members and students.
CIMA held this event in association with the Human Resources, Diversity
& Special Program Unit of the TD Bank. The event also provided
networking opportunities with the representatives from the TD Bank
who shared information on employment opportunities at the TD Bank.
