S Ramani (Ram) is a Finance Professional with over three decades of senior finance experience in Canada and internationally. He is a well sought after consultant in Internal control, governance, risk management and regulatory practices primarily in the financial services industry. Prior to this he was the Senior Vice President responsible for strategic initiatives in the Electronic Banking Division of a leading Canadian Bank. He also held the position of CEO of a financial institution providing non-traditional banking to customers. During his banking and corporate career he has lead strategic initiatives in electronic banking, lead high level teams in value for money auditing, broker dealer financial management and has held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Auditor.

He has also consulted on SOX, Board practices, regulatory processes and banking strategy in Canada and Asia.

He has degrees in Commerce and Law and a CA from India. He has a CMA and CPA and is an Alumni of the Harvard Business School having completed the Advanced Management Program.
