Tahira is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK and a Certified Member of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada.

Retired after a distinguished, 36 year international career completed in Canada, Switzerland, UK and Pakistan, she currently serves as a Non-executive Director of Brambles Limited (a global company listed in Australia). She also volunteers in an advisory capacity with business schools.

Tahira spent the last 26 years of her professional career with Nestlé leading transformation across multiple functions and businesses.

Based in the HQ in Switzerland, she held global leadership positions such as Senior Vice President & Head of Global Supply Chain, Global Business Head for Nescafé Ready-To-Drink and Deputy Operations of Zone Americas. Prior to 2001, Tahira held various management roles in Nestlé Canada, including President-Ice Cream and Executive Vice President-Consumer Demand Chain & Information Services.

Prior to Nestlé, Tahira worked in the Treasury function of the Hudson's Bay Company in Canada as well as the Finance departments of Makro & Coop in the UK.
