Vinay Khosla, M.ACC, CA
As a Tax Partner, Vinay provides small-medium enterprises with innovative tax and sound business advice to save them money. He specializes in tax planning and consulting on mergers and acquisitions, estates and trusts, corporate reorganizations and divestitures, creditor proofing, income tax appeals and other domestic and offshore tax minimization strategies. He has been featured on BNN, spoken on tax topics before law firms, financial institutions, and various professional associations. Vinay sits on the Canada Revenue Agency Practitioner’s Steering Committee, serves as the Treasurer of the Estate Planners Council of Halton and assists with other charitable and non-profit organizations.

Vinay completed his Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo in 1997, obtained his CA designation in 1999, and completed the CICA In-depth tax course in 2002. He has been featured on BNN, spoken on tax topics before law firms, financial institutions, various professional associations and the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce.

Monty Bhardwaj will present a shareholder dispute scenario involving real life issues related to business valuation and forensic accounting

Monty is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator and CA-designated specialist in investigative and forensic accounting with 14-years of experience in the areas of business valuation, forensic accounting, personal injury claims, damage quantification, purchase price allocation and due diligence. He holds a Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting from the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto. He is recognized as an expert by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Monty has advised and prepared reports for clients in connection with shareholder and partnership disputes, arbitrations, personal injury claims, mediations, fraud investigations mergers and acquisitions, intangible asset valuations including software, tax and estate planning, business interruption litigation and personal injury litigation.
